HVOTE Captains

HVOTE Captains are the go-to source in you house to ask question about registering and/or pledging to vote this fall. They will be organizing HVOTE study breaks and tabling for your house.

Adams

Zarmeena Dawood is a sophomore studying biomedical engineering. She is from Long Island, NY and she is excited to serve as a house captain this year and to get everyone registered to vote!

Currier

Sietse Goffard is a sophomore studying Economics and Government. He grew up across the US as well as in France and Germany, which kindled his interest for both domestic politics and international relations. He is thrilled to be a house captain in Currier House! Sietse even spent much of the summer registering voters in northern Virginia as part of a political campaign, so he can’t wait to continue this experience at Harvard

Dunster

Claire Simon is a sophomore studying History and Literature from Lexington, KY.  An active member of the IOP, she is especially excited for election day this November.  She can’t wait to start registering voters and help Dunster win the H Vote competition!

Eliot

Neil Patel is a senior in Eliot House studying Human Evolutionary Biology from Albertson, New York. He is the Managing Editor of the Harvard Political Review and is interesting in medicine and health policy. He looks forward to registering voters and helping student become more engaged with the election.

    Kirkland

Amy Weiss-Meyer is a sophomore from New York, NY who will probably concentrate in History and Literature. She is thrilled to be a new member of Kirkland House and looks forward to meeting everyone in the House this semester through H-VOTE, in the d-hall, and at other House events. She has experience registering voters as a volunteer for Obama for America and is excited to help make every (eligible) Kirklander’s vote count this fall.

Kelsey McKenna is a sophomore in Leverett House from Rockville Centre, NY, who intends to concentrate in physics. She is excited to get involved with the IOP through H-VOTE, and can’t wait to join members of the Leverett community in preparing to cast well-informed votes in the upcoming presidential election.

Ben Raderstorf is a Junior studying Social Studies and Latin American Studies from Boulder, CO. He’s a lifelong politinerd and couldn’t be more excited that his home state is now resoundingly a battleground. He has experience registering to vote and volunteering with campaigns, especially at the state level.
